October is just around the corner. And you know what that means: OKTOBERFEST! Alcohol! Alcohol! Alcohol!
But I will sit this one out.
Yes, you read that right. I am currently on an indefinite leave from alcoholandia. Nope, this has nothing to do with drama or being emo. I just need to stop drinking alcohol, for the meantime. I don't really consider myself as an alcoholic since I only drink and get really drunk on weekends, but I gotta put a stop to drinking.
I noticed a pattern in the days following my excessive weekend drinking sprees: I always get sick. TMI but I get either
constipated or have
diarrhea afterwards. I'm no doctor but I believe these ailments do not have anything to do with the food that I take. Not with the water as well.
I have started my quest for an alcohol-free lifestyle (for the meantime lang to!, until I feel better) and I am planning to live an alcohol-free October. I will also try to cut down on my soda and substitute it with either water or fruit juices. And accomplish one of the things from my
25 before 25 list: add more vegeteables to my "edibles" list.
Earlier today, I had sinigang for lunch and it was the first time that I ate ALL the veggies. SOME veggies ain't so bad after all. They just need a lot of getting used to.
SO here's to living a healthy lifestyle! (save for cigarettes... one at a time please. alcohol first. cigs will follow later.)
