  • Hung out with the Cyber FabPoT (Fabulous People of Training)  - BabyJohn, Blythe (Bleethee), Carlets Flowers-Couture, Hayris [info]ayrisgreyz, Petchikelles  [info]africanprinc3ss, Chuki [info]chukibear, Alexie [info]entwined18 (welcomed new Cyber FabPot-eer Josh to the team), before their Training 101 Workshop with Jopai [info]jp2reyes
  • Joined the Cyber FabPoT in the Workshop 
  • Headed to The Fort around Lunchtime to meet up with Nikichie, Scot, Pato [info]etsepwera and his partner Gabe
  • Had lunch with them at some Japanese resto (I forget the name)
  • Headed to Buendia Pasong Tamo for vanity's sake, where  Pato and Gabe experienced (a cultural experience?) our (Nikichie's and my) super-salon indulgences.
  • Headed to Gustav to take a quick shower
  • (Probably lost my condo keys at this time)
  • Went to Nickichie's and Scot's condo and hung out with the couples Nickichie-Scot and Pato-Gabe
  • Headed to The Spa at Greenbelt with Nick, Pato, and Gabe. (Nick and I decided not to have massages and go shopping instead - after all shopping IS also therapy.)
  • Left Pato and Gabe at The Spa and headed to NSG for a quick bite
  • Went to Glorietta and did slow "speed shopping" with Nickichie for clothes to wear  later that night
  • Headed to Gustav by 830PM Saturday. Called the locksmith. Had the locks changed.
  • 15-minute power nap (after 23 hours of being awake!)
  • Dressed up and got ready for Bed
  • Picked up by Nickichie and Patrick @ the condo ground floor
  • Headed to Nickichie's and Scot's for a pre-Bed alcohol dose
  • Picked up by Pao [info]fiddydiddy and headed to Bed.
  • Bed with Nickichie, Scot, Pao, Patrick, Johan, Gerard, Pato, Gabe and Ronan [info]walangpahinga (nice meeting you!)
  • LENGLENG AGAIN!
  • Breakfast at Next Door Makati Ave. with Nickichie, Scot, Pato, Gabe, and Ronan

12th-Jun-2006 05:35 am - Long Weekend. [bed, government, movie, weekend]

Saturday night (technically Sunday morn) went to Bed with Nick|[info]anickdote|and Scot, Gerard, and Jonathan and Alaina.

Had breakfast at BJ's. Went home. Slept from 8am to 12 noon. Had lunch at around 530. Slept again from 630pm to 830pm. 

Sunday Night
Met up with ISH |[info]acgrrrl|at Greenbelt and had dinner at Bubba Gump round 10pm.  While waiting for the food, I went up to buy tickets for myself, Ish, Nick and Scot.  When I got to the ticket counter, I noticed a familiar couple: Jonathan and Alaina!Went up to them to say hi.  They were about to buy tickets for the 11pm screening of Take the Lead.  I told them I was gonna watch a movie with Ish and Nick and Scot too.   They decided (probably because of the pressure I unconsciously imposed) to watch The Omen with us instead.  Jolaina (coined by Nick, in the spirit of Brangelina and TomKat) went with me as I headed back to Bubba Gump since they too haven't had dinner yet.

What initially started out as a date between Ishy and myself turned into a group activity! FUN! Ish, Nick, and I are not scary-movie, demon-inspired, horror movies.  We are all scaredy cats and screamers!  You know those people who scream at not-really-scary scenes of the movies, and who cover their eyes with their hands while watching?  We are their role models!

I was kinda dissappointed with the movie though.  I only screamed once. And it wasn't as loud as I wanted.  I just felt too stressed while watching the movie.

After the movie, we headed to Starbucks and sang and danced to the music playing in Havana.  Their theme for the night was "No Theme Tonight".  So the music that we heard was a variety of New Wave, House, Club, and Pop. And a strange remix of Milkshake, Billy Jean, and some Rap song.

Jolaina had to leave early so Nick and Scot and Ishy and I decided to check out Government.  We're not really a Government group, but since it was the only bar open last Sunday night, we went.  I saw a couple of friends, and some familiar faces.  After a few drinks, and almost an hour of dealing with boredom, we headed to NorthPark to have breakfast and call it a night. 

Fun night. and I won't be working Monday night! Fun!

...went to Salcedo Park for the weekend market with Chris [info]xtianxtianxtian,  Chase [info]theamazingchase, Ate Sanch [info]kitchengod, Rocky [info]grimlock88, and Joycee.  It's always fun to look at the people and the stuff for sale at the weekend market.  I didn;t see any hot guys (save for one Hot Daddy!), but it was all good.  Ate Ineng's barbeque and original pampanga sisig (actually kila Chris yon, nanghingi lang ako.)

met up with Glenn at Glorietta at around 1130AM. I like it that Glenn and I get to hang out more often. And the good thing about our Saturday "bonding" is that the things we talk about are way different now from the things we talked about before.  When Glenn was still studying, and I was still working with the Entertainment Industry, all we talked about was our men and our sexcapades (ssssh). But now, I think we both have matured and all we talk about are details of what we do at work, office politics and work ethics, work-induced stress.  We work fro different industries, but we enjoy listening to each other talk about the stuff that we do at work. 

We watched Take the Lead at Greenbelt 3 with Nick [info]anickdote.  The movie was good enough, although not really something that will make you leave the cinema in awe. But it will definitely make you wanna dance Ballroom after the movie.

After the movie, we went and looked around.  I wanted to buy something (anything, actually) so I would go home happy that I've bought something for myself.  I wanted to get the Carbon shoes (on sale), but my EQ got the better of me. In fairness to myself, I had high EQ on a Saturday shopping day.

Glenn, Nick and myself went to Coffee Bean to get refreshed (Man, that afternoon was ver humid!) with some non-coffee drinks.  Got myself a Mango Ice Blended Drink, which was pretty good - considering my unbearable dislike for non-coffee drinks at cofee shops.  And as always, Nick and I played our "Would You Do Kuya?" game where we point at hot and not-so-hot men and ask each other if we would do that person.  It got pretty broing later on as the number of hot men walking around was dwindling. All we could see were caucasian women and old caucasian men (except for the hot gay man drinking outside grappas).

Went home at around 4pm. I Slept at around 5:30ish.  I was awake for 23 hours and 45 minutes. What a day!  (and oh yeah, I had to wake up at 11pm for a Saturday night out with Jonathan and Alaina, Nick and Scot, and Gerard.


I miss these kinds of Saturdays after work.
